About us

Meet Kot

Kot Engenharia was founded in 1993 by Professor Ihor Kotchergenko, a designer since 1960. From a Ukrainian family, Kotchergenko studied mathematics at ITA and holds a master's degree in Civil Engineering from UFRJ.

Teaching computational methods in postgraduate courses since 1973, he was the creator of the Finite Elements course at IME in 1978. He was a pioneer and responsible for introducing Brazilian engineers to computational methods.

Now based in the Savassi district of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Kot specializes in engineering solutions aimed at promoting safety and productivity through the management of our clients' assets.

Since it was founded, Kot has set itself apart by providing high-level engineering services to major companies. We are currently one of the leading references for excellence, quality and reliability in Brazil.
