DATA MEASUREMENT
KOT Engineering counts with high technology National Instruments Data Acquisition Systems. Several data types can be measured such as:
- Force;
- Displacement;
- Acceleration;
- Velocity.
The experimental data is then used to validate numerical models, and in some cases, these models can be used to extrapolate the results to other working conditions.
Acceleration measurements can be used to quantify the dynamic response of equipments, which can be visualized in the time or frequency domain.
KOT Engineering can also measure strain in metallic structures using Strain Gages. After data reduction process the strain values can be used to estimate the stress levels and loads acting in the structure.
Using wireless sensor technology, KOT can measure a wide range of data including rotating shafts, automotive applications or other application where the convencional sensors cannot be used.
