CFD ANALYSIS
CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) is a set of numerical methods that allow fluid flow simulations. This phenomena is described by the Navier-Stokes equations, but with the exception of extremely simple problems, these equations cannot be solved using analytical methods, thus the importance of CFD methods to solve this complex equation system. This numerical tool reduces the need for prototyping or scale testing, for example, wind tunnels tests.
Besides flow simulations, it is possible to solve diffusion equations, chemical reactions, magnetism problems, using modern CFD techniques and softwares. The wide range of applications include Engineering problems in hydraulics, aerodynamics, atmospheric simulations, internal combustion engines and particles.
KOT Engineering uses CFD softwares for services in geometry optimization for internal flow, aerodynamic forces analysis on structures and hydrodynamic forces analysis on structures.
